You are welcome at St. Paul American Coptic Orthodox Church. Whether you are already Orthodox, visiting for the first time, returning to church, exploring Christianity, or simply looking for a place to pray, we would be glad to meet you and help you feel at home.
Come and Attend
Everyone is welcome to attend the prayers, Divine Liturgy, classes, fellowship, and parish events at St. Paul. You do not need to understand everything before you come. The life of the Church is learned gradually through worship, questions, relationships, and steady participation.
If you are new, introduce yourself to a greeter, servant, or one of the clergy. We can help you follow the service, connect with age-appropriate classes, and learn about parish communication and ministries.
Holy Communion
Visitors and friends are invited to pray with us and receive the blessed bread distributed at the end of the Divine Liturgy. Partaking of the Eucharist is reserved for those who are baptized in the Oriental Orthodox Church and are prepared according to the Church’s sacramental life, including confession, fasting, and the blessing of their father of confession.
Becoming Orthodox
If you are interested in joining the Church or learning more deeply about the Orthodox faith, St. Paul offers a catechism program for inquirers and catechumens. Father Matthias would be glad to help you take the next step, answer questions, and connect you with the right path for learning and preparation.
Please use the form below to tell us a little about yourself. A priest or servant will follow up with you.
