The Orthodox Faith Course is an 8-week online course for learning Scripture, doctrine, Church history, and Orthodox practice.

The Orthodox Faith Course is an 8-week online course for anyone interested in learning the Orthodox faith more deeply. No prior Orthodox faith knowledge is necessary. The course is especially useful for inquirers, catechumens, servants, parents, and parish members who want a clearer foundation in Scripture, doctrine, Church history, sacraments, and Orthodox practice.

Course Format

  • No prior Orthodox faith knowledge is necessary.
  • The course is offered online as a live-streamed course.
  • Each class runs for 8 weeks.
  • Students test and advance their knowledge by completing the required quizzes and tests.
  • Students use Moodle for course access, materials, and course progress.

The Orthodox Faith Course strengthens confidence in the Old and New Testaments, Orthodox doctrine, the sacramental life of the Church, and the reason for the hope that is in us. Class materials include detailed presentations and video lessons.
