St. Paul American Coptic Orthodox Church belongs to the Coptic Orthodox Metropolis of the Southern USA, under the pastoral care of H.E. Metropolitan Youssef. The Metropolis connects our parish to the wider life of the Coptic Orthodox Church through pastoral care, liturgical worship, teaching, service, and apostolic ministry.

The first Coptic Orthodox Diocese established in the United States was founded in 1993 to serve the growing Coptic Orthodox faithful in the southern region of the country. As the ministry grew, this local church body became the Coptic Orthodox Metropolis of the Southern USA.
