St. Photini Women’s Ministry

St. Photini Women’s Ministry is a gathering for women of the parish to grow in spiritual edification, Orthodox teaching, prayer, encouragement, and fellowship.

Why St. Photini?

St. Photini, the Samaritan woman at the well, encountered Christ and became a courageous witness to Him. Her story reminds us that Christ meets each person personally, reveals the truth with mercy, heals what is hidden, and sends His people to bear witness with joy and boldness.

What the Ministry Is For

The ministry gives women a place to gather for spiritual formation and honest encouragement in the life of the Church. It supports women as they seek to grow in prayer, repentance, Scripture, service, family life, friendship, and faithful witness in daily life.

Spiritual Growth and Fellowship

St. Photini Women’s Ministry is meant to strengthen the whole person. Gatherings may include teaching, discussion, prayer, shared food, reflection, and fellowship. Topics may include forgiveness, humility, relationships, motherhood, singleness, marriage, service, emotional health, spiritual disciplines, and learning to follow Christ with courage and peace.

The goal is not only to attend an event, but to help women encourage one another in the Orthodox life. As women build friendships and share wisdom across different stages of life, the parish becomes stronger, more prayerful, and more connected.

Who Should Come

Women of the parish are welcome, including young adults, mothers, single women, married women, servants, and older women who want fellowship and spiritual encouragement. The ministry is for women who want to grow in Christ, support one another, and serve the Church with faithfulness and love.
